The Human Ignition (solo exhibition)
This was the first time the machine works were brought together, allowing the concepts to flesh themselves out. Thank you to Birmingham’s non-profit printmaking co-op, PaperWorkers Local, for bringing this exhibition to fruition during 2020’s covid-19 pandemic. The show was initially intended to run from June 13th through July 25th but with scheduled appointments, social distancing, masks, regular wipe-downs, and other safety precautions, the show was extended twice, lasting until September 7th.
All the work, spanning seven years, can be viewed here. Be sure to visit “The Machines” page for a brief summary of each work along with detail and in-progress photos.
